The approach

Less overthinking.
More good golf.

Good instruction should give you something you can actually use—not a head full of swing thoughts.

01

Start with your game.

Your experience, your goals, and how you learn. The right starting point is the one that makes sense for you.

02

Make practice count.

Work on clear priorities with purposeful drills and constructive feedback. Understand what you’re practicing—and why.

03

Bring it to the course.

Connect technique with shot selection, course management, and the confidence to play your next shot.

From learning the fundamentals to preparing for competition.

Good questions

A little clarity
before you start.

New to lessons? Here are a few things worth knowing.

Ask Alexis a question
Do I need experience before taking a lesson?

Not at all. Adult instruction can begin with the fundamentals: grip, setup, putting, chipping, and getting comfortable on the course. Returning players and experienced golfers can focus on the parts of their game they want to improve.

What ages do you teach?

Junior instruction serves ages 3–17. For younger children, the emphasis is on engaging games and early skills. Older juniors can work on technique, purposeful practice, course management, and preparation for competitive play. Adults and college-level players are welcome, too.

Where are lessons held?

Alexis serves the Greater Portland area. Contact her to confirm the teaching location and available lesson options before making plans.

What do lessons cost?

Contact Alexis for current rates, lesson lengths, and available formats. Pricing, location, and scheduling are confirmed directly before a lesson is booked.

Can Alexis help with high school or college golf?

Yes. Her background as an NCAA Division I head coach informs her approach to skill development, structured practice, competitive preparation, and the college golf pathway. Coaching and recruiting guidance do not guarantee a team position or scholarship.

Do I need my own clubs?

Tell Alexis what equipment you already have—or that you are starting without any. She can discuss what is appropriate for your lesson and what to bring before you arrive.

Let’s get started

Your next chapter
starts with
one conversation.

Tell Alexis a little about your game. Ask about lessons, current rates, and availability—and find a starting point that feels right.

For junior lessons, a parent or guardian should get in touch. Please use your own contact information and avoid sharing a child’s full name or other sensitive details.

Prepare a lesson request.

This prepares an email for you to review and send. A lesson time is not reserved until Alexis confirms it.

Nothing is sent automatically. No payment or commitment.
