Alexis played collegiate golf at the University of New Orleans, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. She began her teaching career at Green Garden Golf Academy and became an LPGA Teaching and Club Professional in 2005.
She went on to spend 11 years as an NCAA Division I head coach at Chicago State University and Southern Illinois University. Her coaching background also includes player development at Royal Oaks Country Club and high school coaching at Catlin Gabel.
That mix of teaching and competition informs her work with younger golfers finding their feet, adults getting comfortable with the game, and players pursuing competitive goals.

Alexis’s golf swing was used as a motion-capture model for the arcade game Golden Tee LIVE—an unexpected connection between the practice range and a game played far beyond the golf course.
