Every day your child spends without the benefit of

professional golf instruction is a missed opportunity

for their growth and personal development.

I am dedicated to introducing children to the amazing world of golf and expertly guiding them all the way to college play.

My strategy for working with juniors encompasses every facet of competitive golf and I use age-appropriate teaching methods.

Ages 3 to 10

With this age group, the focus is on making the experience enjoyable and engaging rather than on intense training. This age group doesn’t want complicated instruction or advice. I keep it fun by focusing on skill development using games. It’s different than just hitting balls on the range or redundant putting on the green. Attention spans might be short, so short sessions work best and positivity is key. Keeping this group interested and engaged encourages them and gives them a good feel about playing golf. The goal is to foster an early interest in the game.

Teaching your child golf

can be one of the best gifts

you can give your kid.

Ages 11-17

Skill building

I develop and encourage this age group through effective practice techniques and skill building, by strategically observing play and giving constructive feedback. I effectively utilize TrackMan and SAM Putting Lab as evaluation and teaching tools.

· Accomplishing a well-executed drive not only covers more distance but also sets the stage for subsequent shots. Driving lessons help improve swing mechanics, generate more power, and enhance accuracy off the tee.

· Improving putting technique by reading greens accurately and understanding green speed, grain, and break allows more putts to be made.

· Learning proper chipping techniques helps control distance, trajectory, and spin, allowing the ball to land consistently on the green. Chipping lessons teach the various shots needed for different lies and conditions.

· Playing lessons on the course provide real experience and practical insight that can’t be replicated on the driving range alone. Playing lessons help understand course management, shot selection, dealing with varying conditions, and adapting to different lies. This practical application enhances decision-making abilities and bridges the gap between practice and actual play.

Coachability

I promote coachability with this age group by encouraging players to be open to learning, accepting feedback, and implementing changes.

Following Etiquette and Rules

I communicate that to excel competitively, players need to know and appreciate how correct etiquette and rules will contribute to their success.

Let’s begin nurturing a lifelong passion for golf.
